Stapled Booklets

1-2 napon belül elkészül

We refer to all printed products made with staples as booklets – consisting of a cover and inner pages, bound with standard or omega staples. It’s one of the simplest yet most reliable binding methods, especially when there aren’t enough pages for a thicker, spine-bound format.

To produce a stitched or glued book-like publication, you typically need at least 60 pages – depending on paper thickness. Since content often falls short of this, we’ve curated creative paper combinations that allow you to choose thicker covers and thinner, harmonizing inner pages. This way, the simplicity of the binding doesn’t mean compromise – thoughtful material choices result in a unique, well-balanced booklet, even with just a few pages.

It’s simple: think about the content. Is it just black-and-white text, or does it include color elements?

Editing guide

Example Configuration   /  Our sample setup includes 40 booklets printed on 300/150 gsm paper, with 20+4 pages, full-color printing, and omega staples.

Design Guidelines  /  Avoid using fonts smaller than 5 pt or with very thin strokes, as their printability largely depends on the smoothness of the chosen substrate. Gold and silver elements may not stand out well on very small or fine surfaces.

File Setup  /  The total page count (including cover and inner pages) should be divisible by 4 — even if some pages are blank. Booklets thicker than approx. 5 mm may not close completely. With higher page counts, inner margins tend to narrow toward the center. Please submit pages individually, not as spreads. We can saddle-stitch up to landscape A3 format.

Durability  /  We strongly recommend laminating the cover for added durability, especially if the booklet is intended for long-term use.

Saddle-Stitching Options  /  You can choose standard staples or omega staples. Note that omega staples are suitable only up to approx. 4 mm thickness. If you're not using a standard binder (8 cm staple spacing), please specify the custom spacing required.

General File Settings  /  The most reliable file format is PDF/X-4, which ensures optimal compression and proper embedding of fonts and colors. All images should be in CMYK color mode, with a resolution of 300 dpi at actual size. If using spot colors, all printable elements must be vector-based. For designs that reach the edge of the sheet, include a 3 mm bleed. Crop marks should also be 3 mm long and placed 3 mm from the edge.
