Proof Prints

Done in a day

Proof prints let you see how your design looks in print—on the selected substrate, at the actual size, and with accurate colors. They’re the perfect tool for verifying proportions, colors, or substrate choices, whether for packaging, publications, invitations, or any other print project.

In this category, you have extensive customization options: choose from any of our available sheet substrates, opt for full-color or spot color printing, and add lamination to test the final effect. You can receive your proof print in sheets or cut to size, with optional corner rounding, depending on your needs.

If you intend to use the proof as a color reference for future printing, please return the approved sample to us—either in person or by mail. You can order multiple copies and note in your order that one should remain at the print shop as a color reference.

Important: The price includes only printing (and optional lamination)—binding or other finishing services are not included.

Costs do not increase linearly — the more you order, the better the unit price. Pricing is based on how many pieces fit on a single sheet.

Editing guide

Design / Avoid using fonts smaller than 5 pt or with very thin lines — their printability largely depends on the smoothness of the chosen substrate. For creative papers with different front and back sides, please specify which side the design should be printed on. Gold and silver elements may not show well on very thin lines or small areas. For deep black areas, we recommend using CMYK 60/50/50/100. All images should be in CMYK color mode.

General setup / The most reliable file format is PDF/X-4 — it ensures optimal compression and proper embedding of fonts and colors. You can also send TIFF or JPG files. Files should be submitted at the final print size, with a resolution of 300 dpi. For posters viewed from a distance, 200 dpi is sufficient (still at 1:1 scale). Bleed and crop marks are not required for posters, but we recommend keeping text at least 2 cm away from the edges.

Color / Please note that we cannot guarantee perfect color consistency for reorders, especially on creative papers. For sensitive colors, we recommend placing a larger initial order.

Finishing / Lamination and foil coating can vary by side — glossy, matte, or super matte. Foil coating is only 30–40 microns thick, so the print remains flexible after application. Lamination differs from foil coating in thickness (80–100 microns), resulting in a rigid finish that cannot be folded. Because lamination is pouch-based, both sides of the paper will have the same finish (glossy or matte). Glossy foil enhances colors and is typically used for promotional materials, while matte foil slightly softens colors and gives a more elegant look.
