Certificates

Done in a day

Receiving a certificate feels good – it’s a sign that you’ve done something well, that you’ve stood out. But maybe you’ve also received one printed on flimsy paper, with messy typography and a name scribbled in marker – memorable for all the wrong reasons. That’s not something you’d want to hang on your wall.

That’s why it’s important for a certificate to reflect the value it represents – not just in content, but in appearance. We offer a selection of premium papers, with optional gold, silver, or bronze printing, and beautifully typeset names printed directly onto each piece.

A well-crafted certificate is more than a keepsake – it’s a genuine mark of recognition, given with pride and received with joy.

Costs do not increase linearly—the more certificates you order, the better the unit price. Pricing is based on how many pieces fit on a single sheet.

Editing guide

Design  /  Avoid using fonts smaller than 5 pt or with very thin lines—their printability depends largely on the smoothness of the chosen substrate. For creative papers with different front and back sides, please specify which side the design should be printed on. Gold and silver elements may not show well on very thin lines or small areas. For deep black areas, we recommend using CMYK 60/50/50/100. Due to possible trimming inaccuracies, avoid using thin or unprinted borders around the edge of the certificate—even a 0.5 mm shift can make the border look noticeably uneven. If you're using an online editor, keep in mind that while it's convenient, it may not allow you to export files suitable for professional printing.

Color  /  Please note that we cannot guarantee perfect color consistency for reorders, especially on creative substrates. For sensitive colors, we recommend placing a larger initial order.

General Setup  /  The most reliable file format is PDF/X-4—it ensures optimal compression and proper embedding of fonts and colors. All images should be in CMYK color mode and 300 dpi resolution at actual size. If you're using extra (spot) colors, the printable areas must be vector-based. If your design reaches the edge of the print, include a 3 mm bleed. Crop marks should be 3 mm long and placed 3 mm from the edge.

Personalization  /  It’s helpful if you provide a sample showing the desired placement, along with the font type and size. For personal details, please send an Excel file with the necessary information (name, title, achievement, etc.). For numbering, let us know the number of digits, starting value, increment, as well as the preferred font and point size.

Quantity  /  It’s worth ordering a few more copies than the exact headcount—better to have a colleague handwrite a replacement later than to see an awardee leave empty-handed.
